Faced with the current health situation, TRAMOBUS (CBM Group) is constantly seeking new ways to improve the daily lives of millions of public transport passengers. We are now pleased and proud to announce the success of an experiment jointly conducted on the ROUEN's TRAMWAY (Network Astuce) a subsidiary of the TRANSDEV group.
Our "TRANSPURE" solution based on PCO (Photocalytic Oxidation) technology simultaneously disinfects contact surfaces and purifies the air to reduce VOCs (volatile organic compounds), micro-organisms, pathogens and viruses (including COVID-19) by more than 95%.
The series of tests were carried out in a tram under normal operating condition and the analyses - surface samples and aerobiocontamination analysis - were carried out by an independent laboratory. The results confirmed the effectiveness of the disinfection process.

Our technology mimics the natural photocatalysis process by converting water and oxygen molecules in the air to create a reactive and powerful "friendly oxidant” - hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)

Active at several specific wavelengths of high intensity light (UV), oxygen and moisture are extracted from the air to create a plasma of powerful oxidants that targets pathogens in the air and on surfaces.
